NGI CDC Team works as a parallel body with Academic teams and keeps individual monitoring of every student’s academics, co-curricular, behaviour, skills etc. to understand and identify student’s potential areas of growth & interest. From day 1 at NGI, students are groomed on NGI Pre-Placement Pedagogy focussing on Industrial Visits, Internship Programs, Soft Skill Programs, PD Sessions, Communication Activities, Mock Interviews, Resume Writing, Professional Networking etc. A Career Mapping is exercised for every passing out student and Job Opportunities / Recruiters are relayed to offer best career options to the student.
Major functions of Job/Placement Cell are
- Identify & record Professional Skills and Interests of Students
- Map Student’s Interests to viable Career Options
- Offer enough Exposure and Mentoring to Student to make the best choice
- Groom Students as per NGI Pre-Placement Pedagogy from Day 1.
- Organise On-Campus Placement drives tapping best Job / Internship Opportunities
