Eligibility Criterion
- Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.
- The reservation in seats and relaxation in the qualifying marks in favor of the reserved categories shall be as per the rules of the concerned Government.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
- The Bachelor of Education program( BEd) is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (classes VI-VIII), secondary (classes IX-X) and senior secondary (classes XI-XII) levels.
- Bridging Faculty Development Program (FDPs) ensuring parallel Learning & Development for Students @ NGI.
- The Government of Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination annually to select and recruit students for BEd Program. Thus, Admission to B.Ed. courses running in various Government/Aided/Self-Financed Colleges and Universities in the state of U.P. Allotment of seats in the B.Ed. course in the different colleges and universities of the state, is done by the central counseling board under the Chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor, of university. All the decisions regarding counseling and allotment of seats are done by the central counseling board.
- NGI offers admissions against 100 BEd Seats every year.
