Industrial Skills Accelerator (ISA)

NGI CDC’s Skills Accelerator is aimed at building in-house talent development capacity. ISA’s core purpose is to identify Technical and Soft Skills Gaps and to facilitate industry-tailored training interventions to help NGI’s millennial generation of students. ISA works in close coordination with Job/Placement Cell to ensure NGI Students are well equipped with in-demand Industrial Skills and Professional Capabilities. ISA additionally adds value to In-House Capacity build-up by focussing upon Academic Excellence Trainings and FDPs for NGI Personnel also. ISA is solely responsible to develop overall Learning Environment for Students and Teachers.

Major functions of Industrial Skill Accelerator are

  • To conduct Skill Gap Analysis for Students and Teachers
  • To develop talent and skill development strategy annually
  • To organise Training Interventions in collaboration with Industry Professionals
  • To partner with Top Companies / Organizations for on-demand workforce development and host Custom Training Programs
  • To plan and execute Faculty Development Programs in consultation with Supervising Directors and Academic Heads
  • To develop micro-learning resources for Students and Teachers delivered through Web-based LMS
  • To propose, plan and develop state-of-art Sponsored Centre-of-Excellence (COEs) in collaboration with Industry leaders like TCS, Amazon, IBM, T-hub, NPTEL etc. where students are exposed to live projects, client handling, programming, application development, structure designing etc under the mentorship of Professionals.
