In this endeavour NGI is committed to providing Technical and Non-Technical skill enhancement programmes for fellow faculty members. The Faculty Development Programmes (FDP) at NGIare carefully designed annually to bridge the skill gap in quality teaching and mentoring skills that are required in contemporary education system.
FDPs are unique programmes that provide an opportunity for faculty members to engage in series of Skill Fixing Sessionsbased uponadvanced teaching methodologies, student mentoring, leadership, management, technical skills, tools and contemporary issues. In doing so, the programme enables faculty members to be abreast with contemporary methods, teaching techniques, pedagogical advancements, and focused discussions on contemporary advancements in the discipline.
FDPs at NGI are specialized programmes for skill enhancement and career development of entry-level, mid-career and senior educators serving in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Polytechnic and Educations disciplines offered by NGI. The FDP programme has been effective in creating a unique platform for faculty to engage in skill development (teaching and research), and identify best practices to deploy in their curricula.
The collective expertise of NGI faculty is shared with the participating academicians with a primary thrust on equipping the participants with contemporary research, teaching and management skills.
