ADMISSION POLICY 2016-17

THE NEELKANTH GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS was established to enable students in India to study under the global system of education. In addition, NGI will admit students from all over India and abroad.

While the NGI admissions policy reflects this mandate, it also underscores our experience that a culturally diverse student body enriches the life of the college and our belief that the diversity should be maintained.

We set out to involve students, parents and staff as active partners in the learning process, in a relevant, engaging and challenging educational programme, through commitment, self reflection and continuous improvement. We therefore firmly believe-

POLICY –A MUST READ

1. Admission at Neelkanth Group of Institutions is irrespective of caste, creed, colour, and region.
2. Admission in any course at Neelkanth Group of Institutions is strictly on the basis of minimum eligibility as mentioned.
3. Admission in any course at Neelkanth Group of Institutions continues if their present any vacant seat in the respective course.
4. If any student withdraws his/her admission then admission against that vacant seat will be done on first come first serve basis.
5. All the admission seekers should read the Academic Honesty Policy and adapt it to follow

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

Basic Criteria:
  • The student has a successful history of Academic performance and appropriate personal conduct.
  • Prospective candidates should have potential to pursue quality education to be evaluated through written test and personal interview and subsequent written recommendation by respective head of the Institution.


  • ALL SUCCESSFUL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

    Minimum Eligibility:

    M. Tech -B. Tech or equivalent with 60% and above marks.

    B. Tech
    -10+2 or 12th passed from a recognized Board of Education with 50% in PCM.
    -For lateral entry in B.Tech., Polytechnic diploma passed with 60% for admission in B.Tech 2nd year.
    -For lateral entry in B.Tech. , B.Sc. PCM passed with 60% for admission in B.Tech 2nd year.

    Polytechnic -10th standard examinations from a recognized Board of Education with minimum of 35% marks.

    MBA -Graduation with 50% and above marks in any discipline subject to University norms.

    ITI -Class 10th examination passed and above under 10+2 system of education with Science and Mathematics or its equivalent.

    BBA/BCA -10+2 from a recognized Board of Education with 45% and above marks.



    ADMISSION PROCEDURE

    1. Purchase an admission form from account office at Neelkanth Group of Institutions or it can also be downloaded from www.neelkanth.edu.in
    2. Fill the admission form completely in all respect.
    3. Attach the required documents with four colour photographs.
    4. Attach the demand draft of atleast 50% of the course fee and separate demand draft of atleast 50% of the hostel fee (if hostel required).
    5. The demand draft should be in favour of:

    • Neelkanth Institute of Technology payable at Meerut for M. Tech., B. Tech and MBA course.
    • Neelkanth Institute of Engineering & Technology payable at Meerut for Polytechnic diploma courses.
    • Neelkanth College of Engineering payable at Meerut for Polytechnic diploma courses.
    • Neelkanth Vidyapeeth payable at Meerut for BBA, BCA, B. Ed and PGDM course.
    • NGI Private ITI payable at Meerut for Technical Skills Development courses.

    6. The duly filled admission form along with all required documents, photographs and demand draft should be submitted to Neelkanth Group of Institutions or can be sent to the following address:
